Owned and operated since 2004 by lifelong Louisvillians, we have worked to build an award-winning team of Certified Arborists and Plant Health Care professionals. Limbwalker is the first tree service in Kentucky accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association and we are dedicated to using the most current techniques in our work.
Committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability, we strive to preserve natural resources and reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible.
We are proud to have fifteen ISA Certified Arborists® on our team, allowing us the expertise of an arborist on every job. This includes two Board Certified Master Arborists®. This credential is the highest level of certification offered by ISA. Fewer than two percent of all arborists currently hold this certification.
Safety is a top priority for everyone at Limbwalker. Working with proper, well-maintained equipment and continued training promotes our team’s safety and productivity. Limbwalker has dedicated considerable time and resources to create an effective culture of safety. We believe this is the best way to serve our clients’ needs for a safe and reliable service provider.
We care about our local community as much as we care for trees. We love the city we call home and strive to make it even better. We’re actively involved in caring for our parks, improving public spaces, and the Citizen Foresters initiative.
We make an effort to reduce our carbon footprint by operating trucks that are powered by biodiesel, using vegetable-based chainsaw bar oil, applying organic fertilizers, and offering organic based lawn service.
We’re proud to say we’ve won awards for our service, but our biggest award is the word-of-mouth reviews from our customers. See what they say on Angie’s List and the Better Business Bureau. We try hard to make sure you’re satisfied and offer a guarantee to back it up.
The Kentucky Arborists Association (KAA) is the state chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). The KAA’s purpose is to promote the science, technology and practice of professional arboriculture throughout Kentucky.
The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is a scientific and educational organization serving the tree care industry. The ISA was founded in 1924 when a group of 40 tree care professionals was called together by the Connecticut Tree Protection Examining Board to discuss shade tree problems and their possible solutions. The ISA’s mission is to promote the professional practice of arboriculture and foster a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees through research, technology, and education.
Limbwalker Tree Service, Inc is the first tree care company in Kentucky to achieve Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Accreditation. The TCIA is a trade association of more than 2,000 commercial tree care services and affiliated companies. This “seal of approval” helps consumers identify tree care companies that have been inspected and accredited based on adherence to industry standards for quality, safety, maintenance of a trained and professional staff, and a dedication to ethics and quality in business practices. TCIA verified this by conducting an on-site audit of Limbwalker’s facilities and work sites. The official report included this statement:
“Limbwalker is one of the best new small companies that I have audited. Their commitment to safe and professional operations is admirable. Their training regimen could be a goal for many companies.”
